Русский: Запись голоса А.В. Луначарского. Из речи "О культурной роли граммофона".

Цитата: «Великую победу не только над пространством, но и над временем одерживает граммофон. И в соединении с радио он, может быть, получает своё наибольшее могущество. В самом деле: на граммофоне вы запечатлеваете вашу речь, и она остаётся на какое угодно время. Вы во всякую минуту можете заставить её вновь звучать, где вы находитесь, там, где потребность в этом представилась необходимой. Давно уже отзвучала речь, но она содержится у вас в отпечатках. Давно умер данный человек, и он всё ещё может обращаться со своей горячей речью к своим потомкам. Это, разумеется, огромнейшее завоевание.

Отсюда возникла мысль о создании больших граммофонных архивов, куда включалось бы: и разный этнографический материал, материал музыкальный, материал публицистический, научный и так далее — всё то богатство тем, которое может быть обработано живой человеческой речью, включая сюда художественное чтение, исполнение различных ролей артистами и так далее, может быть запечатлено в таком архиве более или менее, практически, навеки. Вот почему, конечно, дело создания такого архива является предметом огромной политической важности и огромной культурной значительности».
