"Der Fleischpapst aus dem Bayerischen Wald" wurde er schon oft genannt, sicher auch, weil er 2007 als Erster in Europa Kobe- oder Wagyu-Rinder gezüchtet hat. Er persönlich mag diesen Titel nicht besonders und er ist auch kein Steak-Fan. Sein Lieblingsgericht sind Kässpatzen. "Wenn du beruflich immer mit dem Lebensmittel 'Fleisch' zu tun hast, ist dir nach was Anderem." 00:47
Wenn schon Fleisch, ist ihm mehr nach einer gekochten Ochsenbrust mit Meerrettich oder einem Rinderbraten. Bei meiner Krebserkrankung hatte ich keinerlei Schmerzen, ich hatte so einen Bollen im Hals.
