Description
English:
Church of the Assumption (other source Our Lady Church). Parish church. The first R.C. church of the settlement built in the 13th century in the current cemetery. A part of one door of this first (Saints Peter and Paul) church can be see here on the south church wall with a Latin language plaque. The current single nave Baroque chuch church built (other source rebuilt) in the 18th century (in 1742??). Its sacrify extended with two chapels in 1950. The oldest part ofthe interior a 15th century, late Gothic, sandstone baptismal font. High altarpiece of the Assumption of Mary is a 1892 works. 19th-century classicist-style organ, renovated in 1892 by László Országh, an orona builder from Budapest. The marble mosaics of the floor were made in 1903 by Péter Melocco's company in Budapest. The clock tower is a 1913 clock work by János Müller in Budapest. On the south side wall of the church there is a cave of Mary of Lourdes. And in the churchyard there is a calvary and a crucifix - Park along Road II/564, Salka, Nové Zámky District, Nitra Region, Slovakia.

Szűz Mária mennybemenetele plébániatemplom (máshol Nagyboldogasszony). A 18. századi barokk templom építésének pontos ideje bizonytalan. 1742-ben a templom át lett építve (v. ekkor épült?). A korábbi vélhetően 13. századi templom egyik ajtókeretéből származik a kő, amelyet az új templom falába foglalva őriztek meg és ennek származását latin nyelvű emléktáblával is megörökítették. Az egyhajós, nyugati homlokzatán egyszerű, barokk párkányokkal és vakolatdíszekkel ékesített toronnyal. Szentélye félkörös záródású. A templomhajót poroszsüveg boltozatok fedik, melyek ión oszlopfős iker-falpilléreken nyugszanak. 1950-ben a szentély két oldalához 1-1 kis kápolnát toldottak. A templom berendezésének legidősebb darabja egy késő gótikus, 15. századi, homokkőből faragott keresztelő medence, amely, alighanem a korábbi templomból került át ide. Ezt tartják templom 18. századi barokk szoborairól is. A főoltár képe Mária mennybemenetele, egy korábbi, hasonló témájú alkotás újrafestéseként, 1892-ben készült. 19. századi, klasszicista stílusú orgona, amelyet Országh László budapesti oronaépítő újított fel 1892-ben. A padló márvány mozaikjait 1903-ban készítette Melocco Péter budapesti cége. A toronyóra 1913-as, Müller János budapesti órás munkája.
