Description
Svenska: Krage av vit atlas med foder av purpurfärgad sammet, lösklippt från en kappa. Rektangulär form. Renässansbroderi av silver vari inkomponerats kronor, 32-35 mm höga, samt i centrum ett stående lejon 60 mm högt. Broderiet är huvudsakligen utfört som läggsöm med silverkantilj och paljetter. En smal silversnodd avgränsar det broderade partiet från kragkanten. Ytterst en ca 10 mm bred silvergalon. Sammetsfodret är pikerat mot ett mellanfoder av kanvas.Kragen bör av broderiet att döma ha hört till Gustav II Adolfs kröningsdräkts kappa, vilken saknas redan i inventariet 1661. Kragen är underfodrad med purpurfärgad sammet, troligen var hela kappan sydd av sådan sammet.Kragen omnämns i Klädkammarens inventarium 1672:"1: St: kappkrage medh sölfr: borderat och underfordrat medh brunt sammet ------ 8:10 2/3"
