English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
A nature watch is inaugurated in Heemstede. The watch consists of boys and girls that solemnly promise not to ruin nature and motivate others to do the same. SHOTS: - A canal and a park with high trees in a residential neighbourhood (in Heemstede?); - some boys and girls demonstrate what not to do: two boys roll around fighting through a flowerbed or destroy a turf when they're looking for worms for their fishing rod; girls use a recently trimmed hedge as a seat; - the bark of a tree has been destroyed; - a large group of boys and grisl has gathered on a soccer pitch; mayor mr. A.G.A. ridder van Rappard pins a badge on all of them; - some young nature watchers correct bad behaviour: a girl reprimands a woman who's picking flowers in the city park; a boy send a man away from the lawn.

In Heemstede wordt een natuurwacht geïnstalleerd. Het gaat hierbij om jongens en meisjes die plechtig beloven de natuur niet te zullen vernielen en anderen op te wekken dit voorbeeld te volgen. SHOTS: - Een singel en een park met hoge bomen in een villawijk (in Heemstede?); - enkele jongens en meisjes demonstreren hoe het niet moet: twee jongetjes rollen vechtend door een bloemperk of vernielen een grastapijt als ze naar wurmen zoeken voor hun hengels; meisjes gebruiken een pas geschoren heg als zitplaats; - van een boom is de schors vernield; - op een voetbalveld is een grote groep jongens en meisjes bijeen gekomen; ze krijgen allemaal een insigne opgespeld door en een hand van burgemeester mr. A.G.A. ridder van Rappard; - enkele jonge natuurwachters treden corrigerend op: een meisje wijst een mevrouw terecht die bloemen plukt in een stadspark; een jongen stuurt een man weg van een grasveld. |
