H./Bottoms and [Wine] of Renos Retreat./(Picture Taken Sept. 17, 1928)/At this point Gen, Custer was seen to waive his hat and the last he was ever seen alive by Reno's Men./Hedgson Monument Northern End of/Reno Entrenchments on Reno Hill." This item is an album with black-and-white photographs, with corresponding white chalk inscription/caption of images, mounted to black pages. The album is compiled of 5 1/2 x 7 3/4" size pages (the first 9 pages torn/detached from compilation); photographs are 4 x 5 1/8", produced by unknown photographer. The brown album cover reads "Photographs" in gold, embossed letters.
