Description
Deutsch: Historische Pelzausstellung Leipzig sollte auch anlässlich der Pelzmesse 1955 in Frankfurt am Main im „Haus des deutschen Kunsthandwerks“ auf dem Messegelände gezeigt werden.
Brief des Stadtgeschichtlichen Museums Leipzig (Dr. Füßler) vom 22. Februar 1955 an den Verband der Deutschen Rauchwaren- und Pelzwirtschaft, Frankfurt am Main (Herr Treusch).
Die in Leipzig stattgefundene Ausstellung zum Thema Pelz, die noch einmal auf der Frankfurter Pelzmesse gezeigt werden sollte, wurde von Seiten der DDR kurz vor der Messe abgesagt. Das Welthandelszentrum für Pelze, der Leipziger Brühl, wurde nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg durch das Pelzhandelszentrum in der Frankfurter Niddastraße abgelöst.
