Description

Das Bild zeigt das 1893 aufgenommene und 1895 berichtigt herausgegebene Messtischblatt Hillesheim. Hillesheim zählte von 1822 bis zum Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges zur preußischen Rheinprovinz.

Die Kartendaten wurden im Laufe der Preußischen Neuaufnahme erhoben, die von der Preußischen Landesaufnahme (Behörde) zwischen 1877 und 1915 durchgeführt wurde. Zu dieser Zeit wurden die Blätter im Maßstab 1:25.000 durch die Behörde fortlaufend nummeriert.

3315 kodiert nach dem Index der preussischen Neuaufnahme das Blatt in den geographischen Grenzen north=50°18' south=50°12' west=6°40' east=6°50' - die Längengrade wurden damals noch nach dem Nullmeridian von Ferro ausgewiesen, d.h. auf dem Blatt erscheinen 6°40' als 24°20'.

Seit der Einführung eines zweidimensionalen Gitters um 1937 durch das Reichsamt für Landesaufnahme wird derselbe Blattschnitt unter der Nummer 5706 (Zeile 57, Spalte 6) geführt, die preussische 3315 wurde abgelöst. Diese zweidimensionale Nummerierung ist für die aktuelle TK 25 der Landesämter auch heute noch in Verwendung.
