The pressure-volume isotherms of He p4 s, published by the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, have been reevaluated using a least squares technique to evaluate the constants in the isothermal equations. All of the original vapor pressure data, which Keller was kind enough to supply us, were corrected to read in mm Hg at 0℗ʻ Celsius and standard gravity. The PV/N products were then represented in terms of a power series in p [rho] and in P for two- and three-constant equations and virial coefficients evaluated. It was concluded that the best representation of the isotherms of He p4 s is the linear expansion in p. This conclusion is based on statistical evidence which is given in this report
