Caption title. On double leaves, Oriental style, in case. cf. Fryer, John. "An account of the Department for the translation of Foreign books at Kiangnan Arsenal, Shanghai" (North China Herald, Jan. 29, 1880) describes this "a translation of "The book of dates" [pub. in Bohn's Series] i.e. Blair, John. Blair's chronological tables revised and enlarged. Comprehending the chronology and history of the world, from the earliest times to the Russian treaty of peace, April, 1856. By J. Willoughby Roses. London 1856. The translated tables terminated with the year Xianfeng 11 [1861] cf. Fryer, John. "An account of the Department for the translation of Foreign books at Kiangnan Arsenal, Shanghai" (North China Herald, Jan. 29, 1880) describes this "a translatiin of "The book of dates" [pub. in Bohn's Series] i.e. Blair, John.
