Français : Autres titres : 275, rue Notre-Dame Est, Montréal. Description : L'hôtel de ville est érigé entre 1872 et 1878, puis modifié de 1923 à 1926 après un incendie survenu en 1922. Il est situé dans un secteur traditionnellement voué à l'administration publique. Il occupe un vaste site entre la rue Notre-Dame et le champ de Mars, en face du château Ramezay. La construction de l'édifice proprement dit débute en 1874 d'après les plans des architectes Alexander Cowper Hutchinson et Henri-Maurice Perrault. L'inauguration a lieu le 11 mars 1878.
