Description
English: Eleven employees of the Glenelg Railway Co. employees stand on, and in front of, locomotives nos. 2 and 4 in a shed at the company's St Leonard's depot, Glenelg, South Australia, between 1881 and 1899. No. 2, left, is a 2-4-0 tank locomotive built by Beyer, Peacock and Company; it was previously owned by the Holdfast Bay Railway Co. Ltd. Locomotive no. 4 is a 4-4-0 tank built by Robert Stephenson and Company, previously owned by the Adelaide, Glenelg & Suburban Railway Co. Ltd.
