Binding: goatskin. Boards gilt tooled with foliate rolls along margins and central ovals (two figures beneath a crown, one with halo before whom the other kneels, surrounded by radiating flowers individually tooled). Spine gilt tooled with crowned shields and narrow foliate rolls. Edges gilt. Endpapers of paste paper, decorated in red, yellow, green, blue. Additional decorated sheet mounted on recto of back free endpaper (floral block print in red, yellow, blue-green)
