Description |
Deutsch: Da Streichinstrumente auf frühen Tonaufnahmen kaum hörbar waren, entwickelte der deutsche Instrumentenbauer Johann Matthias Augustus Stroh um 1900 eine Geige, die für Tonaufnahmen geeignet war. Ohne Resonanzkörper auskommend, wurde die Saitenschwingung der Geige auf eine Membran übertragen und dann von einem Schalltrichter verstärkt. Der zweite, kleinere Schalltrichter ist auf das linke Ohr des Spielers ausgerichtet und dient dazu, ihm die Kontrolle seines Spiels zu ermöglichen. Bis etwa 1920 wurden derartige Streichinstrumente für Tonaufnahmen verwendet. |
