FDA approved drugs screening against COVID-19 using the zebrafish model

Description
English: We are in the middle of a pandemic where time is a critical factor. A large panel of established pharmacological drugs seems useful to fight the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the resulting Covid-19 disease. Despite the emergency state, testing the same straight in humans is highly questionable not to say extremely risky. Thus, animal models of human disease are urgently required. The zebrafish model offers superior advantages for real-time drug screening.
Español: Nos encontramos en medio de una pandemia donde el tiempo es un factor critico. Un numero important de fármacos previamente aprobados por la FDA parecen ser de utilidad en el combate contra el virus SARS-CoV-2 causante de la enfermedad Covid-19. Sin restarts importancia al estado de alarma, probar dichos farmacos directo en humanos es poco etico, ademas de riesgoso. Por tanto, el use de modelos animales se torna impresindible. El modelo de pez Cebra ofrece multiples ventajas en tiempo real para hallar el farmaco deseado.
