Summary[edit]
DescriptionFreedoom - Short gameplay.webm |
English: This is a video gameplay contained in a small package (less than 2 minutes long, less than 100mb of file size) while maintaining within reasonable quality for this day and age (2023) (1920 x 1080 pixels, 60 fps, 7000kbps constant bitrate).
The objective is to quickly showcase the features and capabilities of Freedoom as well as the genre of first person shooters, in a format that users will hopefully not have issues with. Special care has been put to not produce excessive mouse movements that would result in some people find too jarring too watch. We can see the player character gradually losing health, exploring the first level of Freedoom, encountering a closed door that prompts to find a blue key, fighting a variety of enemies with 2 weapons, jumping on obstacles, collecting items including the blue key, and finishing the level, displaying the end of level stats screen that is typically portrayed in Doom-like and other single player games. |
