Blazon InfoField | Español: De sinople, banda de oro, acompañada de un vichelocrego y gaimarelo (Oriolus oriolus) en cada hueco; bordura de plata cargada de ocho pinos al natural. Al timbre corona real cerrada. Las aves de oro Oriolus oriolus, conocidas en Galicia como vichelocrego y gaimarelo, simbolizan el topónimo Ourol, derivado del latín aureolus (dorado). La banda recuerda al caballero don Fernán Pérez de Andrade «O Boo», que dejó su huella heráldica en el siglo XIV en la iglesia parroquial de San Pantaleón de Cabanas y que él mismo mandó edificar. Los ocho pinos de la bordura aluden a las ocho parroquias del municipio, a la actual riqueza forestal que, junto con el color sinople del campo, simbolizan además el medio ambiente y su carácter rural. Galego: En pano de verde unha banda de amarelo acompañada dun «vichelocrego» ou «gaimarelo» (Oriolus Oriolus) de amarelo e ás de negro en cada oco. As aves de amarelo Oriolus oriolus, coñecidas en Galicia como vichelocrego e gaimarelo, simbolizan o topónimo Ourol, derivado do latín Aureolus (dourado) e a propia ave. A banda engolada lembra o cabaleiro don Fernán Pérez de Andrade «o boo», que deixou a súa pegada heráldica o século XIV na igrexa parroquial de San Pantaleón de Cabanas e que el mesmo mandou edificar; e a cor verde do campo simboliza o ambiente e o seu carácter rural. |
