Onder de autoriteiten die bij de opening aanwezig zijn bevindt zich een van de "uitvinders" van de radar, de Engelsman Sir Robert Watson Watt. SHOTS: - ext. gebouw; - ronddraaiende radarantenne op het dak; - int. gebouw met cu's van int. en ext. van de elektronische apparatuur; - animatiebeelden leggen de principes van radar uit aan de kijkers; - beeld van de omgeving zoals een ronddraaiende straal die laat zien op het ronde radarscherm; - autoriteiten; Watson Watt bekijkt de apparatuur.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; Close to the sea in Noordwijk an experimental radar station has been put up. Among the authorities that are present at the opening is one of the "inventors"of the radar, the English man Sir Robert Watson Watt.
