Description
English: A continuous projection pattern becomes discontinuous after glutamate exposure. GFP-transfected hippocampal neurons in culture (DIV 12–13) were briefly exposed to 5 µM glutamate and live-imaged 2 h later every 5 min for a 3 h-period. Time-lapse series of glutamate-treated hippocampal living neurons in culture showing the progression from a normal continuous pattern into a discontinuous one.
