Summary[edit]

Description

English: Many legends and myths surround the Vikings from the far north. One thing is certain: They terrified the people on Europe's coasts with their lightning raids. However, only a small proportion of the Vikings from Denmark, Sweden and Norway were predatory warriors. The majority were farmers and cattle breeders or traded in goods.
