Deutsch: Die Stellung der Erdachse wirkt sich auf die Eisbedeckung der Erde aus. Mit einem Zyklus von etwa 40.000 Jahren neigt sich die Erdachse um bis zu zwei Grad mehr Richtung Sonne. Immer wenn das geschieht, ist die Eisbedeckung geringer.
English: The position of the earth's axis affects the ice covering the earth. With a cycle of around 40,000 years, the earth's axis tilts up to two degrees more towards the sun. Whenever this happens, the ice cover is less.
