Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; De Super-Constellation Triton ligt in de rivier Shannon bij de gelijknamige plaats in Ierland, na kort na het opstijgen te zijn neergestort. Op de oever zijn de voetsporen van de drenkelingen nog zichtbaar, alsmede enkele rubberboten in het riet. 22 passagiers en zeven bemanningsleden hebben zich weten te redden, 24 passagiers en drie bemanningsleden zijn bij de ramp omgekomen. Leden van de Nederlandse en Ierse luchtvaartinspectie varen met boten rondom het wrak. Enkele dagen na de ramp arriveren de radiotelegrafist Henny Oudshoorn, de 2e vlieger Evert Webbink, die de verkeerstoren in Shannon waarschuwde, de 2e boordwerktuigkundige Cornelis Kievits en de 3e vlieger Johan Tieman in geleende burgerkleren terug op Schiphol. Twee dagen later arriveren de gezagvoerder Viruly, 1e vlieger Parritt en 1e boordwerktuigkundige Rademaker met een Super Constellation terug op Schiphol. De heer I.A. Aler, president-directeur van de KLM, houdt een persconferentie.
