Summary
[edit]DescriptionDe Broglie Phase wave concepts.webm |
English: Blue line: de Broglie "phase wave" as seen by a stationary observer; orange line: center of mass of the corresponding particle; green line: periodic phenomenon as seen by stationary observer. The green maintains contact with the blue line as the orange line moves forward. This is "phase harmony": the oscillation of the particle match the phase of the wave at the particle. The de Broglie frequency w_0 applies in the frame of the center of mass; two other frequencies are seen by a stationary observer according to Special Relativity: the oscillation of the periodic phenomenon at the center of mass and the wave itself. These frequencies are given by Lorentz transformations. Generated by python script: [1] and re-rendered with ffmpeg -i phase_wave.mov -c:v libvpx -crf 10 -b:v 1M -c:a libvorbis phase_wave.webm |
