Cylindric Wimshurst machine

Summary[edit]

Description
English: A small cylindric Wimshurst machine made with material from PET bottles by Dr. Antônio Carlos M. de Queiroz (In memoriam). The video shows it connected to hailstorm boxes and electrometers at one terminal and the floating neutralizers. When one terminal is grounded the voltage at the other rises (ideally doubles) and the voltage at the neutralizers rises too. http://www.coe.ufrj.br/~acmq/Glaser
