Nederlands: NIJMEGEN - Cultureel Netwerk Nijmegen (CNN), het samenwerkingsverband van culturele instellingen in Nijmegen, luidt de noodklok voor De Stadsschouwburg en de Vereeniging. Volgens het CCN is er jaarlijks meer geld nodig om de schouwburg en de Vereeniging divers en cultureel te houden. Ook moet er een eenmalig extra geldbedrag van 500.000 euro komen voor kleine reparaties.
NIJMEGEN – De Van Herk Groep, eigenaar van het voormalig GAK/UWV-gebouw bij het station van Nijmegen, heeft grootse plannen met het pand. De vastgoedgroep wil het gebouw ombouwen tot een hotel met 80 kamers. Daarmee anticipeert zij op de geplande verbouwingen aan de westzijde van het treinstation, die in 2023 af moeten zijn. Het hotel, met bijbehorende parkeergarage en fietsenstalling, moet wel ruim voor die tijd open zijn. |
