Description

This folder contains maps and tables compiling hydrographic data from Smithsonian Cruise 97, collected November 6-13, 1964. Data were collected on the Pacific Ocean primarily to the south, southwest, and west of Johnston Atoll, within the area approximately bounded by 12∞ to 17∞ N and 167∞ to 173∞ W. Individual hand-drawn maps plot BT stations, surface salinity (â), 20∞ isotherm (m), depth of the mixed layer, corrected surface temp. (∞C), and bucket temp. (∞C) and salinity (â). Tables in the folder are compilations of hydrographic data from Cruise 97. Also included in the folder are notes related to the data
