The manuscript is stamped, "PHELPS, MSS."
A. A. Phelps writes to the editor of the Worcester Palladium asking to correct erroneous announcement made in the paper. He says Knowlton has no authority to publish Phelps as the author of the report in the Liberator of the proceedings of the Clerical Convention, Worcester. He also says the description of the report in Knowltońs paper is inaccurate
