A.A. Phelps writes to Rufus Anderson about the article Anderson published in the Missionary Herald, entitled ́Extract from a communication of Doct. Hall to the Maryland Colonization Society.́ Supplying information that ́clashes somewhat́ with Doctor Halĺs evaluation of Cape Palmas as a potential colony for the free black, Phelps asks Anderson to publish this information. The letter is followed by Phelpśs private note to Anderson asking to publish the preceding part of the letter
