Description
English: Cutting path through jungles for Burma road short-cut.
A bulldozer of the US Army Burma road engineers opens a path through the jungle for the new MyitkyinaTengchung dry weather short-cut joining the Ledo and Burma roads. Kachin and Chinese workmen, part of the 10,000 helping to build the road, will finish this section by hand toil with the most primitive tools.
