Summary[edit]

Description
English: Dorsal mantle surface (9.7×13.3 mm) on intact squid which had not been anesthetized and fixed. The squid was moving freely in a small chamber (290×200 mm). The chromatophores exhibited miniature oscillation, as in semi-intact squid impaled with pins.
