Summary[edit]

Description
English: Sleep Deprivation and Reactivity of Fish at the Onset of the Sleep Deprivation Procedure The video was recorded 10 min after the start of the sleep deprivation procedure. The fish in the upper chamber is submitted to an electrical stimulation (at infrared light) every time sleep is achieved (activity < 6 pixels/s for at least 6 s). The fish in the bottom chamber (yoked control) is stimulated at the same time, whether awake or asleep. Note reactivity of both fish.
