Description
The warriors are recognisable as Old Confederates by their weapons and armour. They lay down the flags of the Burgundian army at Mary's feet. In the front line, a warrior with a white beard raises his sword to Mary as a sign of victory and shouts for joy. In the waving flags, the Bernese bear and (outside this detail) the bull of Uri can be recognised, but also the black and white coat of arms in the flag of Fribourg.
