Português: Bem tombado em Santa Leopoldina, Espírito Santo, Brasil. O casarão da Fazenda Barra de Mangaraí é o local de nascimento de Afonso Cláudio de Freitas Rosa, o Primeiro Governador do Espírito Santo. O prédio é composto por dois andares em uma planta quadrada. Na fachada principal, três portas de madeira dão acesso ao interior. No piso superior, cinco janelas com espaçamento regular se abrem. Duas pilastras de madeira em cada lado da janela central acentuam o eixo central. A construção consiste em madeira e alvenaria rebocada. Um telhado de quatro águas ligeiramente inclinadas fecha todas as quatro fachadas com beirais.
Deutsch: Das Herrschaftshaus der Fazenda Barra de Mangaraí ist das Geburtshaus von Afonso Cláudio de Freitas Rosa, dem Ersten Governador von Espírito Santo. Das Gebäude besteht aus zwei Geschossen auf einem quadratischen Grundriss. An der Hauptfassade führen drei Holztüren ins Innere. Im Obergeschoss öffnen sich fünf regelmässig verteilte Fenster. Zwei Holzpilaster beidseits des mittleren Fensters akzentuieren die Mittelachse. Die Konstruktion besteht aus Holz und verputztem Mauerwerk. Ein schwach geneigtes Zeltdach schliesst mit Traufen alle vier Fassaden ab.
English: The manor house of the Fazenda Barra de Mangaraí is the birthplace of Afonso Cláudio de Freitas Rosa, the First Governador of Espírito Santo. The building consists of two storeys on a square floor plan. On the main façade, three wooden doors lead into the interior. On the upper floor, five regularly spaced windows open. Two wooden pilasters on either side of the central window accentuate the central axis. The construction is made of wood and plastered masonry. A slightly pitched tent roof closes all four façades with eaves.

Deutsch: Die Geschichte dieser Fazenda beginnt im Jahr 1813. Damals erstand Francisco José de Barros Lima dieses Land im Rahmen von seismarias. 1816 wurde der Besitz bestätigt.
Hier arbeiteten Sklaven, lebten Herrschaften, Grossgrundbesitzer, Einwanderer und sogar der Erste Governador des Staates Espírito Santo, Afonso Cláudio de Freitas Rosa, wurde hier 1859 geboren. Die Fazenda finanzierte sich mit verschiedenen Geschäften und Produkten. Höhepunkt war die Produktion des Cachaça Mangaba. Zudem wurden die Grundnahrungsmiitel Bohnen und Reis angebaut. |
