  • Lieutenant général de la Provence, gouverneur de la ville et château de Nantes, maréchal des camps et armées du Roi en 1748
  • Né le 25 mai 1718
  • Décédé en 1802
  • Grand d'Espagne de première classe. La Grandesse d'Espagne passa en 1787 de son vivant et sur sa demande a Louis-Marie Bufile duc de Brancas, pere de Madame la Comtesse Hibon de Frohen.
  • Louis Paul de Brancas (1718-1802), fut d’abord titré marquis de Brancas et comte de Forcalquier. Il termina sa carrière militaire comme maréchal de Camp en 1748.
  • En 1753, il est nommé grand d'Espagne de première classe. A cette occasion, la marquise de Brancas fut présentée à la cour et pris tabouret en tant que femme de grand d’Espagne.
