Also engraved here on a shield are the Dyke arms : Or, three cinquefoils sable; above, on an esquire's helmet, the Dyke crest: A cubit arm erect, vested and cuffed, the hand grasping a mace, the head of which is barbed with seven spikes. Below is inscribed in Latin:
