Description
English: HCA undergoes fast retrograde transport in non acidic organelles. Motor neurons cultures were incubated with fluorescent HCA (green) and Lysotracker (red) for 30 min at 37°C under depolarising conditions (60 mM KCl). Cells were then washed and imaged. HCA undergo fast retrograde transport (from left to right) in non acidic organelles as demonstrated by the almost total lack of colocalisation with Lysotracker. Cell body is out of view on the right. Frames were taken every 4 s and played at 5 frames/s. This movie is a representative example of experiments performed on two independent primary motor neuron cultures, replicated twice.
