Summary[edit]

Description
English: Bloom originally published a work describing stages that people go through as they learn to think more deeply about a subject. This was updated by Anderson and Krathwohl in 2001. I created this graphic because the taxonomy has typically been presented as a pyramid which presumes a hierarchical structure and a linear progression which does not match reality. My graphic shows Remembering and Understanding as foundational skills, Application as a bridge skill between basic informational levels and higher levels of Critical Thinking.
