Description
English: Time-lapse intravital microscopy of leukocyte extravasation in mouse cutaneous tissue (auricle). Cutaneous inflammation was induced by injection of IL-8. Neutrophils express EGFP and appear in green. Blood vessels are labelled using intravenous injection of TRITC-labelled albumin. Real-time recording of 30 min was compressed to time-lapse sequence of 7 sec. Application of ketoprofen gel prior injection of IL-8 blocks intravascular leukocyte adhesion and extravasation.
