Description
Español: Esta es la bandera que acompaña las proseciones de San Benito de Palermo en el estado Zulia (Puerto Escondido, Cabimas, Tasajeras, Bobures, Gibraltar, Caja Seca y otras), este es el modelo básico, cada grupo de vasallos presenta variaciones como cruces blancas, corazones rojos o este simple rectángulo azul marino. Esta bandera es producto de un sincretismo religioso ya que solía acompañar a la deidad africana Ajé Ajé, señor de las aguas azules las que simboliza, como a San Benito lo bailan con tambores siendo un sincretismo con el culto a Ajé Ajé es el origen de esta bandera.
