Batik paintings by Bambang Oetoro are exhibited in the first Dutch batik gallery in Amsterdam. This Indonesian artist still uses the old technique. SHOTS: woman admires batik paintings in a museum; close up Oetoro; Oetoro working on a batik painting: drawing with pencil and brush, then putting on the liquid wax with a wax pen, a so-called Tjanting, dipping the cloth in a dye bath and holding the cloth under hot tap water to remove the wax; several barik paintings by Oetoro.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
In de eerste Nederlandse batik-galerie in Amsterdam zijn batik-schilderijen te zien van Bambang Oetoro. Deze Indonesische kunstenaar werkt volgens een oud procédé. SHOTS: vrouw bewondert batik-schilderijen in museum; cu. Oetoro; Oetoro aan het werk aan batik-schilderij: tekenen met potlood en penseel, vervolgens aanbrengen van vloeibare was met waspen, een zgn. Tjanting, onderdompelen van doek in verfbad, doek onder hete kraan om was te verwijderen; diverse batik-schilderijen van Oetoro. |
