Description

Structured habitats in the Auried, Kleinbösingen, Canton Fribourg, Switzerland. On the left a reed belt protrudes into the picture, in the middle ground a pond and on the right a pond. In the alignment of the path a copse and on the right hedges. On the left in the middle field a row of tall trees, one with fresh gnaw marks of the beaver.

The amphibian spawning area provides habitat for numerous other animal species. Besides amphibians (amphibians, toads and frogs), there are numerous insects (e.g. dragonflies), reptiles, birds and mammals (beavers).
