Description
English: STS-46 Pilot Andrew M. Allen exercises using the cycle ergometer as part of Detailed Supplementary Objective (DSO) 618 - Effects of Intense Exercise During Space Flight on Aerobic Capacity and Orthostatic Function - on the middeck of Atlantis, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 104. Allen is shirtless and is equipped with sensors for monitoring his biological systems during his exercise session. A communications kit assembly cable freefloats from his headset at his right and in front of the forward lockers. The open airlock hatch appears at his left and the sleep station behind him.
