Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Ai Weiwei, one of China’s most famous and prolific contemporary artists, created a limited edition artwork to commemorate the Brooklyn Museum’s 2014 presentation of his major survey exhibition, Ai Weiwei: According to What? The bicycle, the main mode of transportation for much of China’s population, is a recurring theme in Ai’s work. In the fall of 2016, Ai visited the Brooklyn Museum to discuss his new sculpture.
