English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Winning of marl from Mount Saint Peter in Limburg for the production of cement. Parts are blown up with explosions, after which the marl is loaded on lorries. An old Limburg farm on the edge of the quarry. Greetje Blanckers is one of the last people to live in a cave. In the tunnels of Mount Saint Peter are old murals and graffiti, stalactites in the corridors, mushroom farms and bats in hibernation.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
Winning van mergel uit de St. Pietersberg in Limburg voor de productie van cement. Dmv explosies worden delen opgeblazen, waarna ze in vrachtwagens worden geladen. Een oude Limburgse boerderij op de rand van de afgraving. Greetje Blanckers woont als één van de laatste grotbewoners in een grot. In de tunnels van de St. Pietersberg bevinden zich oude wandtekeningen en graffiti, druipstenen in de gangen, champignonkwekerijen en vleermuizen in winterslaap. |
