Summary[edit]

Description
English: Team Navy wounded warrior athletes say adaptive sports and the 2017 Department of Defense Warrior Games are about more than just winning medals for themselves and the team. It's been life changing and lifesaving. Thirty-nine athletes are competing on Team Navy in the Warrior Games – an event that introduces wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans to Paralympic-style sports in Chicago. (U.S. Navy video by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Andrew Brame/Released)
