The illustrations and the engraved portrait of the author are by Frederik van Hulsen. Added engr. t.p., signed "G. Pass sc." (i.e. Willem van de Passe). Signatures: A⁴(-A1,2+A2) B-Oo⁴ 2P². Leaf C2 misprinted as D2; Ii1 misprinted as Ii2; Ii2 misprinted as Ii3. Head piece; initials. Text within line borders; printed marginal notes. Ms. notes to front flyleaves. Bound in leather; red leather label, gilt decoration and lettering to spine; gilt dentelles; speckled edges; marbled endpapers.
