Description

This thesis describes the development of a CAD circuit model for two-path cutoff waveguide dielectric resonator filters. The model was verified using published data of known designs in X-band waveguide. Results from the model agree very well with experimental data. Also, a method for designing this type of filter is proposed. It makes use of commercially available CAD software. An example of the design procedure is given, along with experimental data obtained from a filter manufactured according to the design.
