Summary[edit]

Description
English: Supplementary Movie 1 DCDC particlces segregate faithfully in a bacterial microcolony. We have overlaid the brightfield (grayscale) and RFP channels (red) to show particle segregation over time. One frame is taken every five minutes as a colony of E. coli cells forms under an agar pad. The field of view is 37.38 μm on each side.
