Description
English: Morphological changes and movement of cells in the presence of MVs. Time-lapse observation of a monolayer of Ca9.22 cells was monitored by an optical microscope (Olympus) equipped with a CCD camera (Andor) in the presence of highly purified MVs isolated by the SB technique. The protein concentration of MVs used in the assay was 20 µg/ml. Images were taken at 30 sec/frame for 30 min immediately after addition of MVs suspended in Eagle’s balanced salt solution (EBSS). The constructed time-lapse images are shown at 100 msec/frame (300 times the original speed). The width of the image is 170 µm.
