  • Significance: The bottling plant is an example of a prototypical design by Walter Monroe Cory for Canada Dry Ginger Ale, Inc, probably designed between 1936-43. Canada Dry used the Art Moderne building type as a signature style during an expansion period across North America from 1945-49. Other Cory-designed sites that have been identified include: Montreal, Quebec; Havana, Cuba; Silver Spring, MD; East Orange, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Highland Park, MI; Minneapolis, MN; Seattle, WA; and San Diego, CA.
